For SAAB (formerly the Student African American Brotherhood)
Role: Lead designer
I began SAAB’s visual rebrand by conducting a brand audit with the project lead based on stakeholder interviews and surveys, review of the current website and brand materials, and a competitor analysis. After an initial design-team wide exploration of SAAB’s logo brand identity, I continued and completed the rebrand efforts from another designer's initial concept and with support from the team.
After finalizing the new logo and sub-brand logos, I produced a comprehensive brand guide, letterhead, Word report template, PowerPoint template, website banner templates, and email signatures. I also partnered with the project lead to write and then design simple user personas for SAAB’s audience segments.
The effective and impactful efforts of the full team were recognized by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Maryland Chapter as Best in Show for 2021.
