SAAB

Brand research, development, and design
Role: Lead designer

SAAB, formerly known as the Student African American Brotherhood, needed an updated brand to align with its expanded scope and vision, and unify its many regional chapters.

After an initial design-team-wide exploration of SAAB’s logo brand identity, I continued and completed the rebrand efforts from another designer's initial concept and with support from the team.

After finalizing the new logo and sub-brand logos, I produced a comprehensive brand guide, letterhead, Word report template, PowerPoint template, website banner templates, and email signatures.

I also partnered with the project lead to write and design simple user personas for SAAB’s audience segments. This served as a starting point as they continued expanding their audience strategy.

The efforts of our project team were recognized by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Maryland Chapter as Best in Show for 2021.
